Photo Contest

We want to give all our residents the opportunity to be a part of our community communication by sharing your photos to appear on the website. We’re looking for photos that best communicate the beauty and unique charm of our neighborhoods. Photos should be HORIZONTAL.

The best, winning photo will be selected to be on the Home Page of our website, complete with your credit for taking it. PLUS, you’ll receive a $25 Publix Gift Card!

Select runners-up will be featured in a photo gallery on the site, or on various sub-pages, credited with the photographer’s name.

So look at the photos you have taken around the neighborhood, or make an adventure of it, and go out and find that perfect image that showcases our neighborhood the best. For inspiration, take a look at our Photo Gallery, for photos that your neighbors have submitted previously.

Please read the following instructions CAREFULLY, to ensure you are meeting all the Photo Contest Requirements.

• Fill in the required information below.
• Attach your best photo from around the neighborhood (ONE per household), within the Lake Sawyer South community.
• ONE photo per household, please. Maximum of 10 MB. Photo Formats Only:  .jpg, .gif, .png, .heic
• Contest is ONLY open to Lake Sawyer South Residents, either Owners or Renters.
• Please keep the photos generic, without people (that includes no kids, please). But at the same time, they should be recognizable as being from Lake Sawyer South.
• Since we want to showcase the beauty of our neighborhood, we are looking for landscapes and wildlife.
• To avoid potential “model release” issues, please do not include recognizable people in your photos.
• Due to the format of the website, please submit photos in horizontal format.
• Be sure photos are of a high enough resolution for best reproduction (at least 2500 pixels wide)
• Pornography, personal pet/family photos, individual homes, and other inappropriate images will not be considered.
• Selection of the photos are strictly at the discretion of the Webmaster and Board of Directors.
• All photos submitted become the property of Lake Sawyer South HOA, and the photos and the photographers’ names may be used in any way we deem appropriate.
• By submitting the photo, you agree that you own the photo or have the right to submit it, and that we may display your photo with your name.

Deadline for submissions is SATURDAY, MAY 31, 11:59 P.M.
